I haven't heard anything about us being affected by the 400 layoffs Beaumont Spectrum Health System announced, but I'm worried that this could be just the beginning and the next round could include more of us in hospitals, including those of us who deal with patients. Am I being paranoid?

Crazy how all these health care companies and providers are laying people off when all I see in the news is fear pr0n about the latest ki---r disease and the record numbers of infections.
