Saying the bottom 20% are garbage is really wrong. It's more like 50% on the CVAD side. On the Networking side, more like 20% aren't garbage.

TAM/CSM rolls will stay as they are paid for by customers. The real question is will they cycle out the clueless and the lazy and replace them with others.

The bottom 20% are garbage and should be cut for performance. But if you do your job you’ll be safe.

Never any guarantees, but customers pay a good deal of money to have TAMs. They are revenue generating, which puts them in a good position. CSMs and CSEs are helping to drive usage of cloud licensing, which puts them in a good position.

IBI had TAMS when it was merged with TIBCO TAMS were added to PSG and made them billable. there were no TAMS role and they are struggling to clock hours. Application architect s title changed to consultants.
