Trying to imagine the thinking that went on in the room when leadership decided to send out that Employee Opinion Survey that landed in inboxes this week. Just days (and in some cases minutes) after the bloodbath. “Hi! Let’s pretend we care.”

Few years back at a certain Southern California manufacturing plant, the plant manager asked if they could hold off distributing the Employee Opinion Survey until after the Employee Appreciation event that was coming up, so there'd be a higher likelihood of good ratings from production staff. Unbelievable!!!
The survey was utter BS. I have not seen something like "how are you confident with the Higher management's decision" or whatever like that. the survey is somehow "designed" to give feedback/describe how we feel towards our direct "supervisors/manager" levels at most. which really sucks because in reality, my direct manager is doing pretty good job and supports me in every way. What I dont like are those sc*mbugs at the top of the tower - yet there is no mention how we feel about them. or wait did I receive a different survey questionnaires/set?
If he's (Mike) still around when the results are published (hopefully not), he will blame the lousy scores on the businesses and geographic leaders, who will in turn blame it on each other. Failure is an orphan especially at this train wreck
This survey is a joke and frankly speaking insensitive and condescending. I don’t know how many times upper management want to hear that they have messed up badly and driven this great company and employees to the ground. Shame on you
This year, the final results will probably be released during the Christmas break week. By the time people are back from holiday to read their emails, 3m will have sent 20 to 30 emails congratulating itself for 3rd party awards for dei, patents, other meaningless tech awards, and how it was rated as such a great corporate citizen by some 3rd party paid for by 3m.
I entered majority of the ratings on the extreme negatives
I only complete these because it is the one of the few anonymous ways to tell the clowns how bad they stink. The comments are always worth a lot of laughs. Would love to see these unscrubbed just to see what people really think. I think what irks them the most is web sites like this one where people can share their viewpoints. Even Glassdoor can be manipulated because 3m can pay 3rd parties to write glowing reviews and giving mike thumbs up.
i filled it in laughing very loudly, some of the repetitve questions trying to brain wash me into saying what they want to hear,,anyway, it will turn out to be a waste of time, finishes on the 27th and i know there will be an unhappy and limited turnout.
