So my manager has resigned tasks on our team and She told us that 8 working hours are not gonna be enough now and that we should go above and beyond to be able to fulfill the new activities...
To be honest I'm looking for a new remote job bacause this is gonna get worse

"Quiet quitting" by the Board of Directors over the past couple of years is what got us into this mess.
Ditto those thoughts.
Just “yes” them to death and only work your 8 hours.
“Quiet Quitting “ is the new norm.
Avaya is the WORST company to work for and they will have a very difficult time recruiting any talent now that they have done what they have done. No talented person will EVER come back to Avaya now that they know Avaya can and WILL Lay you off with ZERO notice!!!! They have violated the WARN and potential age discrimination violations with the bulk of the layoff being over 50 years of age. F Avaya!! Good Riddance.
Several years ago, my manager called a meeting before he resigned from Avaya. "I kept thinking next quarter things will start getting better, then it was 6 months things will start turning around, then next year we'll turn the corner. I finally realized things were never going to get better only worse". Do more with less, new mission statement? I've heard that one before. Couple years later I was offered a VTP and left Avaya. Good luck. Maybe new management will turn it around.
Unfortunately with the amount of people that were laid off, all of us are going to have to do double duty because of it. They keep saying "do less with less" but I have already gotten more tasks for the people that got let go on Tuesday. The thing that sucks is we were already short staffed prior to the layoffs since people have been leaving/retiring and back fill was not getting approved for the last year.
For the tasks that I am now "responsible for" I can't even go back to the people that use to be responsible for it to ask questions since everyone was let go same day and no hand off....
