I am so sorry to see this happening to all Associates. They still have bills to pay, families to support. My wife and I have frequented Bed, Bath, and Beyond for many years. I enjoyed browsing while she shopped. We always purchased something. We are currently in a severe economic downturn and it looks like the aforementioned downturn will be here for some time. As people tightened their expenditures places like Bed Bath and Beyond will feel the pinch as your products are not a priority, sad to say. Food, healthcare, mortgage payments, rents, energy etc will take priority. When I read all the comments I see a lot of blame. Though a lot of blame is warranted we have only ourselves to blame. I have no idea what the answer is. I just hope things get better.
The racism in Corporate was rampant.
the workerbees were mainly brown
the managers were mainly white
the CEO suite was pretty much all white ( the one latino just ki---d himself )
I was in corporate. In my department they kept all the white people, everyone else got axed.
Who's able to reach the taint without gagging and will swallow.
