Severance package

Has anyone received the email for your severance package? I have signed nothing at this point and it has been over a week since I was offered severance or to go part time. I am feeling uneasy that I will not receive my severance.

Is it legal for them to basically cancel our severance if we get another job? That sounds kind of fishy to me. After 25+ years I'm ashamed to say I worked there.

Hello J it’s miss S I just got off the phone from HR & she checked on the email status & told me that the remaining emails should be released today that she didn’t see any holds ups. So keep checking as I have our inbox & let’s get paid. I’m keeping the faith that today we will be free from this drama. I’m sending you & everyone my very best. Cheers!

last name K, just got my email; make sure you’re checking close, it wasn’t like other corporate emails from before (like on furlough), mine was from JM via Docusign

they lay everything out, either full time capped at 10 or superviser capped at 12, but their timeline for when you get it was weird. next week’s check sounded like it will strictly be your last week worked and any vacation and unused holiday. but then it says there’s a 7 day period after corporate receives your signature (ohhh boy) before the severance kicks in, and we get paid on the typical bi weekly after. so i guess i have to wait until the end of the month to see if i get a full check, half a check, or if corporate ‘didn’t receive it’ right away and i have to wait another 2 weeks for money from there

I too am owed 10 weeks, so I’m waiting & hoping I don’t have to chase after this … because it won’t be cute if I have to. So, keeping positive vibes, & thoughts that my email will come through ASAP!

C here. I got the full 10 weeks. They mention twice that it will be paid bi-weekly and once that it will be a lump sum. But what I actually signed said bi-weekly.

Thank you for this update about your phone call experience.. I hope that all that is true on their end. What number did you call? I called 1844-694-7721 & the person I got had no answers at all. She told me the same thing I already new from my paperwork & said she wasn’t in the know of any more details then what she gave me. So, if your phone number is different could you please post it. Thank you again for your post & I hope that we are all going to get taken care of immediately.

The media is totally hounding this blog & they would love to sink their teeth into this if we are not taken care of as promised … we are waiting corporate suits! Do your job, & honor your obligation to our severance ASAP!!

We didn’t ask to lose our jobs & we all put our blood sweat & tears into your company making you all the money that everyone in corporate as gotten their grubby lil hands on & ran with it. So now it’s time to pay your debt to us!

I just called and was told that they are in the process of sending them out and that to give them until tomorrow. If you haven’t received anything by 5pm EST, then give them a call. They close at 8pm EST, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to reach them. The 1st time I called today, I was on hold for 10 1/2 minutes before a recording came on and said to leave a message. So I called back and was on hold for about 8min and got to talk to someone. Hope this helps y’all out.

Last name starting with C concerns me if they were going alphabetical order I would think C’s would already been sent. Well let’s keep up hope, but be prepared to do what it takes to get paid! Making calls giving them the chance to make it right … if not Media Time! Journalist are all over this site & they’re begging for the news, & truth.

When I called yesterday as I said they had no answers ..they knew what we were told & nothing more. I asked if by the 9th & I still haven’t received my email they said we have to talk to our store managers who let us go & that they need to reach out to their HR partners to get it taken care of.

Wouldn’t the public like to know that bbb promised us ALL a Severance deal & then didn’t pay up….. the media will devour this in the news. How many customers do you think are going to stand by a company like that??? Not to many. So Listen up C Suits! WE better get my severance money ASAP!

Thank you J for sharing your experience thus far .. when I called the phone # on my paperwork yesterday they couldn’t tell me anything & said if for any reason I don’t get my email that I had to call my store manager to handle it. So I guess later today I’ll be calling my store manager to GET on it! To J & everyone else I’m sending you my best, & let’s make sure we get taken care of.

I have not received my email yet either, & yes. I’m feeling worried. Please if any of you have received your severance emails, and you see these post can you let us know. I was wondering if they are going in alphabetical order pure day since there are so many to get through. So, if you have received it can you make a comment & possibly give your last name first initial? It could help take the worry off those who are waiting & I personally thank you for caring.
