Did they say what roles or areas in Enterprise Connectivity since there’s a town hall next week with that team? Not looking good.
Ford does this every 10 years or so. They hire a bunch of people and look to let go a bunch. At first, I was devistated to see people "walked out". Ever since then, I started my own side hustle. Now, I'm not so scared. i hope to make it 30 years but if I don't, I'll be okay. My advice is this: if you don't have a pension with Ford, look for a job with a company who will pay you better. P.S. A few of my friends who were let go got jobs at other Big 3 companies and Ford wonders why they are beating them in design, sales, etc.
