LR: latest update

Lots of random topics here but none of which deal with the main objective of this forum.
What are the latest LR news, rumors, updates, innuendos, shenanigans, etc?

Cut the cr-p about the rest of these mumbo-jumbos blah blah irrelevant topics.

On Aug 17th Cisco will release Q4 earnings result. Are the numbers looking good or will it be a miss resulting in a headcount chop?

The "I left Cisco 19 years back" guy: please don't come to this topic. Go to the museum where you belong.

There is no need for LRs at Cisco anymore, folks are self-LR'ing themselves. Cisco ELT is laughing all the way to the bank.

My BU aligned people to projects for the following fiscal year. Friends of the VP were aligned to projects with funding... while people not apart of the good ol' boys club were put on projects without funding. This was all quietly done a few weeks before the LR

Nobody has an overall view they can share. It's insider information and leaking it is a very serious offense. I know how my BU did and I won't share any of that here. If LRs are in the making, you'll know anyway. What's the point worrying about something you have no control of? Worrying today won't make tomorrow's problems go away but it will eclipse today's joy. Live your life and sc--w rumors and hearsay.

I doubt the revenue numbers have improved much. Supply chain problems persist and the market continues to adopt software based solutions where possible. Additionally, the attrition rate has to have at least stayed in the 10-15% range.

I acknowledge that this is mostly speculation but it’s not like you’re going to get performance information on a 180 billion dollar company before they release them to shareholders.
