Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

Reorganization

The company has hired upper and middle management with track records , usually two to five years at a clip in their résumés, of downsizing. Check out some of these folks on LinkedIn. One listed acumen of handling M&A (mergers and acquisitions) while having a dubious four-year degree unrelated to that discipline. By the way, M&A in a corporate environment is handled by a team and usually not a small one at that. This particular person, considering his age, has clearly bamboozled the people who hired him (some who have 40 years at the company), will likely ride out his term and then retire after solving zero problems. He's another grifter.

The best is a recent, but undocumented, edict requiring logging of virtually everything that goes on by workers in operations. Hysterical! Logs are already generated by various pieces of equipment including, but not limited to, routers, encoders and decoders, network switching software, VoIP frames and software, as well as a plethora of visual instruments, namely surveillance cameras wall to wall to secure property and life and limb on site. Requiring workers to log their every move and breath is one of the most ridiculous duplication of services ever proposed. Are the share holders listening?
