So frustrating, I was told that there is a hiring freeze in the South division. Is this true or is the company trying to back peddle and not hire certain people? One minute they say look make connections within the company in hopes to be hired full-time and then the next they are saying there is a hiring freeze.

and they can't even get frontline people hired-or they hire someone and that person leaves!
The entire company is under a hiring freeze with the exception of front line.
Here we are 10 years later from the first round of layoffs in 2012. Except this time, it's happening at an unusual time of year, not the normal November/December or February months. Guess they are trying to throw a curve ball in this round of layoffs. They will keep on keepin' on until PBNA has aligned their business & operating plans to Frito Lay and there is just a skeleton group of employees to keep things running. Everything else that can be done overseas will be sourced out.... cheaply....albeit a complete disaster.
