Walmart throws away their old people. We all know it. The pattern has been there for years. During a pandemic when it’s already hard for older people to get another job and start over. Get out while you still have time to start over. Shameful.

I don’t think Doug has done such a horrible job. However, there’s been some colossal sc--w ups, like JET, and that total cluster in the UK, bringing on KAT, all the offshore outsourcing, and more.
Did anybody else hear Jim Cramer blasting Doug McMillon? He basically called him everything by incompetent.
Loved it!
Walmart has been systematically getting rid of those over 40 for years now. At home office, they practically have a bunch of teenagers buying. It’s a mess. And they deserve it. The suppliers are taking full advantage.
You’re right. Every dog has its day and it’s called KARMA. You treat people badly KARMA is coming for you. This is a fact. Cut the useless fat off the top of the food chain.
Every dog has its day…..
My immediate leader and higher ups treated me badly and I reported. First the HR was gone, then the VP, then the director and then the Sr. Director. I’m still hanging in there…lol
Walmart has executed layoffs every year since 2015 or so; sometimes multiple layoffs in one year. As such, they are not necessarily related to inflation, rather a continuation of the play. Yet, people still stay there and return to the company knowing the risk. Hopefully, with the advent of remote work this will provide displaced Associates with broader opportunities while remaining in NWA.
It’s all good it’s the managers that get laid off most the time either or the associates laugh at the same managers getting laid off who are crying over get laid off after they were the ones that screamed and treated associates like garbage so their day is coming
Yea they try to makes us quit so we can't get a serverence. Just fire me already then.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Absolutely truth.
