One thing you can count on, if there are more layoffs at HO, the smell of curry in the break room is not going to be less.
Jim Cramer has no use for Doug McMillon. He compares Dougie very unfavorably to the CEO of Target. Maybe we should be losing him. And all the market and regional managers.
Absolutely it’s the age of what is called a LEAN organization. How about trimming the fat from the market and regional teams? Lots of over compensated people doing nothing. They all come into the stores and try and intimidate associates into working even harder when associates are now doing the jobs of 5 other associates.

Always, stores will get rid of good performers and the long term. Bad performers are easily manipulated. Long-term Associates are making too much money.

We can only hope so! It’s time to clean house in home office - at least 60% of the losers there could be cut tomorrow with ZERO impact to the business. Wmt is one of the most bloated companies out there. Time to right the ship! More layoffs to come? Here’s hoping! And if we’ll lucky, Doug will be on the list soon, too!
