Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

What a joke

It cracks me up coming here and still seeing all the T-Mobile “magenta bleeding” nut sacks defending this tw-t of a company.

All of the people that got laid off have families and gave their all to make this company what it USED to be before the merger, either on the magenta or yellow side. NO ONE but the selfish money hungry a--hats on the SLT have benefited from the merger, NO ONE.

So it’s hilarious to see comments like “they were a waste” or “we didn’t need that department” when 99.9% of the people making these comments have no idea what life would have been or will be without all the support.

And yes, before some id--t comments that I must be one of those laid off, yes I was months ago and I got another job making $50k more a year (not bragging, finally getting paid what I’m worth) and enjoying continuing to see all those that were laid off moving to bigger and better things while those that come here with Sievert and Freiere deep throating them defending what’s become of a company that used to be worth defending.

Congrats to those that have moved on, congrats to those still there milking the company for all the money you can get (don’t give 100% of yourself EVER again to them, use them to help yourself and your family), and F you to all those that defend what’s become the most hated company in wireless.

The people who set up those departments are still there creating other we never needed departments. Meanwhile their stock options are 10x the common workers severance. I hope people wise up and get out of there. People make the company. The good ones have left or have been laid off already.

Lol, converged core? You mean the people who support the alphabet soup of 2G/3G/4G/5G protocols?

That's like 8 people tops

Some of us have been around for decades in either company and recognize the regular ebb and flow of employees. Mayflies have only a short duration before they are gone, just like entire technologies. You adapt, learn new stuff, or follow things as they are decommissioned out the door. Specialize in mainframe or X.25 ? You'll have a limited shelf life.

You’re sad. If you left and you’re supposedly happier, why are are you coming here and saying what you’re saying? You sound like a horrible POS to me. Get some therapy.

T-Mobile culture is toxic- like the converged core. Leadership asks too much of too few people and are cutting more opex leaving engineers alone to plug holes in dam.

Love it and congrats. The people who comment " we never needed that department" 99.9999% sure they're mobile experts.
