Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

So little transparency

My manager pretends that everything is fine, even though there are already serious rumors about cuts. This is nothing new, but the lack of transparency in this company is starting to frustrate me. Of course, everyone is more frustrated when they keep hearing rumors while the managers act as if they don't know anything... If anyone has more detailed information about layoffs - who is the target, how big are the rumored layoffs, please spill the beans.

Thats because they will use the Director to lay off the people and then let them go, or they sign a NDA and are worried about their own a-s.

The reason they wanted pictures updated is they dont even know who their workers are do I see a discrimination lawsuit on the horrizion ? why else do they need pictures. I am sure there wont be much of a incentive but I am sure John and Doug will be laughing all the way to the bank,

Your manager doesn’t know anything. They do calibration and it’s out of their hands. Your manager could be getting laid off too! This is business it happens you just need to always be prepared and expect to be surprised. I’ve been laid off from Walmart after five years, was rehired, and after six more I fully expect to get laid off in the coming weeks based upon what I do and where.

I'm trying for figure out why Walmart will not answer my many attempts in getting an answer as to why they allow all sorts of dogs in their stores that are NOT service dogs. I have sent 15+ photos through Messenger showing all the dogs that ur----e on the floor & are aggressive to other customers. None of the animals are wearing service vests. Its outrageous that Walmart refuses to ensure the safety of their workers & customers that do follow the rules.

You must not have been with the company very long Two disastrous quarters in a row are going to get a reaction. The missive last week to make sure your photo was in Outlook and Workday for "calibration" was a clue. If your team is involved with the type of merch that isn't selling, that's a clue.

I'm already preparing for there to be no incentive next March.
