What we’re the specifics about the corporate mandate at TIAA regarding vaccines? Did they offer real review for exemptions or just allow application for exemptions? We’re any exemptions granted? If so, what we’re the titles of those granted exemptions? TIAA seems to have one of the more aggressive policies of those we’ve seen so far.

Mandate was quietly dropped in December.
Good news for NYC employees this week! Will private sector suits follow? Big win for those who refused to buy the nonsense
I live in Florida, and my exemption was accepted. Although, I don’t think this company wants to stand toe to toe with Florida when it comes to the vaxx. 🤷🏻♀️
It is crazy how many people just took the shot and believed everything our government and employers said....and how wrong they were.
Crazy how many people won't get vaccinated, conspiracy theories and politics have resulted in thousands of preventable deaths, all that was needed was to get a shot.
I resided in North Carolina (Charlotte). My manager and I both worked and resided in Charlotte.
Previous poster, in which state do you reside? In what state did you AND your direct supervisor work?
My exemption was denied, and I was not given any reason. I asked for a reason, and they wouldnt give me one. They also wouldnt tell me how many exemptions were granted. I was "exited" from the firm in April, and was not eligible for unemployment benefits. Unfortunately for TIAA, I have a bunch of recorded phone calls with HR, as well as saved all email correspondence and even downloaded every single internal company policy. Someday, Ill let a lawyer have a crack at it.
I was denied but was extended an offer through a contracting firm to join back. Apparently, TIAA doesn't require contracting firms to follow the same policy if the contracting firm has a remote position available...
Don’t worry - as the vaxxed continue to die off at unprecedented rates, job openings will come back. TIAA and all employers that mandates this are complicit in a criminal action. Of course, this wasn’t ever about employee safety - it’s about virtue signaling, kissing the rear of the current administration and finding a convenient way to lay-off additional employees without having to pay a severance. Kudos to those who stood firm. True virtue will be rewarded
Is person asking the questions an attorney?
TIAA is very inclusive unless you say, think, or believe something other than what the EC, HR, or management wants. Then you will be excluded.
agreed: so many suffered and are suffering in silence due to the threats on their U4 and U5 and the possibility of retaliation based on the firm's NDA which was quickly thrown at EE's immediately in meetings after their status' were confirmed= denied. The policy states alignment with CDC jab requirements and Co stood with the mandate from the Fed/OSHA requirements therefore remit your jab status by ___ date or apply for an accommodation by __ date or you may face termination for non-compliance. Many individuals input their exemption request, waited weeks or even over a month for their "review", pulled into HR interrogations to discuss their exemption requests- then ultimately received notice of their denied medical or religious exemptions requests with nothing more than an email saying the claim was reviewed and "I have denied" your request therefore comply by __ date or be sited for termination. if you did not "comply" they may have deemed you a critical employee and your employment extended to give the Co time to replace you- how kind & thoughtful.
There are SOME that did receive approvals and are required to mask as well as test with the rest of the Vaccinated employees weekly; many sought legal council and submitted legal letters for a secondary review - yes I said vaccinated employees are REQUIRED to test weekly and fill out an online attestation that they tested within the last 7 days every day they report to the office at Co expense of course. Yet those who were denied an exemptions were NOT even given the opportunity to mask & test- just terminated in the most unprofessional manners for any Co- let alone a fortune 100 company- They have even gone as far as deny unemployment benefits for many employees who fought the process and upheld their beliefs til the end and ultimately were terminated between Feb-June causing even more undue hardship on these employees, their families, their careers and especially their mental health. But the top C's promote the Culture, the People Pledge, and every "ism" through media but forget to mention it's only if you conform & align with the majority and the every changing, distracting & polarizing topics of society. Did I forget to mention before Aug 2021----- the leadership team consistently and repeatedly stated on recorded calls- they would NOT put a mandate in place?.... ANYONE hear that??
Information about how harmful vaccines are is now widely available.
