At some point they will have to, or they will need to raise the pay significantly so that the employees would have at least some reason to stay and put up with all the sh-t. Of course I know they will never raise the pay, but they should be aware that the times when working for the railroad company meant having a good and stable job are over. People can work much easier and less dangerous jobs for the same money.

Come on down to LPT where the laborers make 80 thousand a year.Work 12 hour shifts for no real reason. Its great.Plus you can do very little work on top of it.
As long as Wall Street is satisfied with the profits, nothing will change. Until their treatment of us leads to declining profits, they have no inventive to change anything. I believe a change is coming but there will be a lot of pain to come before that. Eventually, they won't be able to move anything, due to lack of crews, lack of power, and lack of runnable cars. That will be the trigger, not any kind of job action other than the constant resignations.
When they stop shipping it
Money Money Money Money
July 27th the second quarter earnings will come out with all the bonuses that were given to the d-mb sh-t management. Anyway, they will have calm backs, but not until there sure the call backs won’t qualify for vacation next year. Got to love your upper management and the minions below them that know nothing about the work you actually do.
Never. Your wages and benefits are taking money out of their pockets. So they will treat you like a red headed step child. It’s their money and you can’t have it.
When? In 2040, after 4 years of a Ivanka presidency, the American people will lose faith in the political process and seize the means of production for themselves in a survival of the fittest scenario. At that time, when it’s too late to correct the situation, NS management will finally realize that treating people like cattle was perhaps the wrong way to manage a corporation.
They won’t stop. Once you leave you’ll be glad you did
A lot of management knows this. But the people at the very top do not care.
