Think about it, whoever is chosen to be the new CEO will want to make an impression from the start. The easiest way to do that is to cut costs, and the easiest way to do that is through layoffs. I think we'll be looking at major cuts no matter who they pick. Since we're already understaffed and overworked, the result will not be good for anybody: those who they kick out and those who stay. I'm not looking forward to the following months one bit.

I just want to know if we're still going to be a Tech Powerhouse.
Icahn owns a 22% stake and Deason owns under 10% of XRX, including preferred shares. The investors could try to push for the company to explore options such as a sale of the company or a divestiture of the company's financing unit, Dealreporter speculated in its "morning flash" piece earlier.
There was a rumor going around wall street this weekend that Carl is having secret talks with CJNG about possible m/a.
Stay classy gang…..wow….Talk about completely out of touch.
Understatement of the century.
But stay classy gang. Whatever….
Just leave the company. There are plenty of jobs out there. But choose another industry. The copy/printer industry is dead.
About to go on vacation, but things can't get any worse and we can only go up from here. Stay focused, after a couple grand slams we'll look back and laugh on these times. Stay classy gang!
‘Think about it’. Ha ha. Like none of us have thought about it.
‘Cut costs’ has been this company’s mantra since 1999. It’s inevitable.
No worries at all. As there is no future at xerox. Problem solved.
The only reason why xerox is the only machine available is because no one wants them.
They know about product lack of reliability, service issues, and supply problems.
Why in the world would you want to buy technology with issues? The mentality of….Ship it, we can fix it in the field, doesn’t work for this.
Thats why they are in stock. Pretty much the case i would bet.
Recommend Carbon paper. 100% reliable, unlike xerox.
Well they may not WANT a Xerox but those are the ones easily available depending on the model compared to the competitors.
All this can change soon I’m sure
any thoughts?
No one wants a Xerox?
Do what you gotta do, SB. I from personal experience what it is like to be handed a steaming plate of you know what and it is no cise. A phoenix could arise from this, stranger things have happened. bet hard.
Best,
Funny thing is ask around, the only machines available right now for third party sellers are XEROX.
I know , I didn’t believe it either but it’s true . Supply chain issues vary between cores, direct, and third party, any thoughts?
Why don’t you just say you’re afraid of making a decision. That would be a lot more accurate. It’s a little late to say you don’t have the belly for it.
Remember these people vote. These people drive. These people cannot find their way out of a cardboard box. They simply cannot make a decision at all.
Worried about Lay offs? Wow that’s incredible. Just stating the obvious.
Truly you cannot make this stuff up.
You’re afraid of layoffs now??! They will happen regardless- that company is a shell to fleece the remaining assets through shares dividend for the shareholders until a sale can happen or profitable bankruptcy (one or the other is a certainty at some point). Get out of there immediately.
Never bring a kn--e to a g-n fight.
This whole thing was set up to be an impossibility from the start.
The new ceo will be nothing more than a figure head, a token gesture to appease the issue.
The engines on this plane have been switched off for a while and are completely cold.
I would say anyone left is in for a mighty rough ride, assuming you survive the crash.
Sorry for the people that know it all.
