Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

The burnout is real

I am completely and thoroughly burned out. With so many people gone and so much extra work we have to do, I am feeling so overwhelmed and tired. I have mood swings, I'm having trouble sleeping, and I can't even enjoy myself outside of work anymore, no matter what I'm doing. I have no idea what to do, but I know this can't continue for much longer. How do other people deal with this?

I just do what I have to do work wise. What whatever work there is to do because there isn’t a lot. Hard to fill the WFT. But just sticking around to see what happens. They’re going to sc--w us anyhow so why care?

You should probably leave the co. Things are only going to get worse.

Contrary to the other post, I feel sorry for you. I went through the same thing. I applied for a job in another part of the the company. Maybe it would be less stressful for you to do the same? It may be worth a shot. I’m guessing you’re in claims because that’s where I was initially and it was horrible.

Two options- suck it up and work, or leave. It’s really not that complicated. Trust me, no on is feeling sorry for you
