Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

3rd/4th week of July

When it all begins with August and September being the big months.

Roles and employees transferring to contractors November through 1st quarter next year and layoffs going into effect October through December.

Pay for those moved to contractors does not change but contractors will be doing job assessments and workshops with their new reports to determine who and how many they will keep. Any severance or benefits offered by contractors for employees they cut are within their internal guides and at their discretion. Allstate will not be involved with that.

Majority of U.S. based workers at ALL levels impacted one way or another. Estimated to be around 60-70% impacted in some capacity whether moved to contractors as their reports and employees or laid off.

Stop with the new world order garbage! Keep politics out of this or those of us who don’t agree will jump in and have something very unpleasant to say regarding your version of events.

Does anyone know what areas in policy administration are going to be impacted?

I am not OP but all departments will be impacted that have U.S. based employees. Customer and agency services, claims, tech, processing, and underwriting look to have the most stateside impacts for this. Claims, tech, and processing mainly to Pune with customer service and sales and agency services and underwriting contracted out.
