What CL level can one begin making $250k in base salary (no RSUs factored in, etc)?

I heard that EM modified the salary bands (reducing) so that many are near or above = 1% to 3% raises.
So, you might not be so "encouraged" by your salary treatment on Jan 1, 2023.
DW is a liar and an embarassment.
Europe Downstream cl28 32 yee 140kusd. See how cheap Europeans are? But we're still be encouraged to leave so that we can be replaced by KLTC and BTC.
America is hugely comfortable on your salaries.
DS CL27 in January. $230k + RSU’s 26YEE
Cl 29, 300k. No rsu.
CL27, 24YEE, E = 235k$
Downstream B Curve, CL 25
About 15 years of experience
Outstanding = $160K
US Based
I think this is close to the top of the range
CL26, Upstream -- $230K
CL 28 $300k
CL 27 $220,000
CL 26: $180k
I know a new hire CL 26 that is getting $240k.
CL 28, $270k, Upstream
You also have to meet the criteria of 1. being male, 2. being non diverse and 3. knowing how to play the system or 4. being in the club
Retired this year as CL29 making $330. Typically got 300 RSUs per year. Always ranked either top third (old days) or E in the new system.
@gkn either you don’t understand YEE (age - 18) or you shouldn’t be complaining to be a CL 26 at the age of 26
CL26, 8YEE $176k, Upstream
Also O in the last cycle.. Severely underpaid…
CL27, DS, O category, 225K, 200 RSU
If you are not in upstream then you would have to be a CL28 or a CL27 near the top
Of the salary range.
@ill american salaries are high, we spend and we save a lot. we also have insanely high education and healthcare costs. it's not unheard of for people to go bankrupt due to healhcare cost
Hi @zmn - I am very similar. I retired in 2018, C28, slightly above $300K
With RSU value included a top 10% CL 26 with 12 YEE (age 30) will earn over 250
It's very interesting to read, I agree. American salaries are crazy over the top versus rest of world.

People like threads like this, this is informative :-)
Current CL26, Upstream
$219K
No RSUs
Upstream engineer (28/28 rotator). Retired at 65 in 2016. CL28, $328k per year plus the usual benefits. Never got any RSUs. I was never more than an offshore EM supervisor. Still, I thought the pay was pretty good especially for only having to work every other month.
I'd try this:

Current CL27 in upstream, at $225k, no RSU’s.
