The original founders lost millions when the whole Bernie Madoff stuff happened. From that point things started to change. The founder’s wife shops with coupons in LI now. I’m hoping for the best but the future looks bleak.

Just to be clear. There are two owners one lived on LI and one lived in NJ right by store 1. Yes ST wife used coupons every time and so did WE wife as well. Not trying to be mean but just saying factual. Come on ST was part owner of the NY Mets up until the new owner just took over. I’m the one that left bed bath on my own as you all should too it’s not gonna get any better. All the older people got fat and rich and stopped listening to ST vision they just liked getting their big fat check.

To be fair to the previous BBB district manager, most of them were id--ts that got promoted because they would just regurgitate that same tired bs that Marty would on conf calls. Imagine any human with any common sense forcing stores to have 1300+ pieces of a four pack Duracell AA battery instead of just having 100 and putting them at each register. Ok so I worked for bed bath a few years back as a District Manager and the owners wife shopped in my stores (and so did Steve’s wife) and always used coupons. Don’t feel so bad they have PLENTY of money. Read the proxy statements the are better than well off. I feel bad for the poor people who will lose their jobs soon
