I feel bad for his family and those who cared for him. I was not one of those people. I saw him berate fellow colleagues on web meetings and approach leading this company with as much enthusiasm as a sloth. I did not like him. I always think about people who sell their soul for a company, or some d-mb investor. What a waste of a life. His choice though.

Once again I state … People never learn

If you don’t learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it over and over.

I have no love lost for xerox or any of the cronies that ruined this company.

They could have made it easier and better for customers, employees, and vendors, very easily.
Instead they chose the slash and burn method to get what they want.

Well…time to pay the price. Remember bad choices may get you out of trouble today, but those choices are usually expensive and problematic as well.

It’s like I said. People never learn, and they just don’t care. So be it.

Golden parachutes can be quite valuable, but remember that they drop like a 🪨 rock when pushed.

The people that cared about this company deserve a lot better.

But xerox, based on all its bad and poor decisions deserves everything it gets.

Maybe More…..

Those who claim they worked for N years and it counted for nothing, you were paid, weren't you? If no personal or professional growth, blame is far from all on the company. Just saying...

Never forget....a few greedy evil ego maniacs destroyed the lives of hundreds if not thousands of loyal, longtime employees and didn't even bat an eye.
I left after 18 years.....I busted my a-s and it counted for nothing!!
So do I feel bad he died? NO!!!!
Karma always finds a way!!!!

Now suddenly out of the blue, everyone is worried about character.

People die. Its a fact of life. You can’t change that.

But now everyone is saying how sick he looked, and maybe he didn’t know what he was doing.

He knew what he was doing. He sold his soul to the dark side, and now people are being bleeding hearts that evil came to claim his soul.

When you play games like this, you get what you get. His actions caused a lot of hardship and grief for more employees than you know.

Sorry he died. But. Remember Revenge is a dish best served cold.

He could have stood his ground and prevented a lot of what happened here. He could have done the right thing.

He didn’t. People never learn.

I didn’t like the guy as a leader , I remember he berated people on early web casts , then they were fired , he complained he had to ‘ sign in ‘ when he came to the U.K. hq , saying it was unnecessary paperwork as he owned the company ( it’s fire regs dude) anyway he was still a human being with a family and a dog , he was only following orders and it’s sad that he died on the job RIP.

come on people. no matter how much I disagree with the man as to business, I still have compassion of this families' loss. while I would make different choices than JV and Ichann have made, and many I strongly disagree with, I would not wish the sudden health decline on anyone. he may not be missed much in this business world for various reasons, but at least show some care for his immediate family and their loss....

To those who took time out of your day to go to an anonymous message board and trash someone who died you really have a special kind of hate. You may not agree with his policies, or feel slighted by his actions, but at the end of the day he was a human who wanted to restore this company to greatness, and doesn't deserve what happened.

I’m not a healthcare professional, but the recent pictures remind me of Steve Jobs at the end. Some form of liver or pancreatic disease.

My condolences to his family as no family should have to go through that and this is not the time to debase him.

But, his, really Carl’s, actions destroyed a lot of livelihoods and hurt a lot of families. Most of whom were simply trying to pursue a career and support their own families. They just happened to be on the wrong side of Carl’s ledger or, as one of his guys once told me, ‘taking money right from Carl’s pocket.’ So, I get the vitriol.

At least this site has the good judgement to delete the other disgusting thread, They need to shut down the whole XRX section for a few months due to the lowlifes that live here.
