Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Respect goes both ways

Just as much as we want to feel respected, so do our managers. And that is very obvious. However, how do you respect someone who obviously doesn’t know their job and isn’t doing it well?
This is what their egos can’t stand, when they notice that employees don’t have a good opinion of them and are questioning their grandiosity. That's why I've been constantly the target of criticism from my manager lately, precisely because I don't pretend to be thrilled by his "incompetencies". I do my job the best I can and it’s funny how hard he tries to find faults in my work.

The lowes in my town, the manager moved off.For years he’s been criticized….some deserved some not. They’re awaiting a new manager…..wonder if a few months from now they’ll look back and say “ we had it good and didn’t know it “?

Oh I get it. You are so darn good he wants you gone. Your value added isn't needed at all. Just move on and hire someone else.
