It is not my responsibility to fix the poor work of my coworker! The worst part is that my manager doesn’t think so, so I fix the coworker’s mistakes almost every day. Anyone else who has to deal with that? How do you handle all this?
A colleague is well aware of his failings, but is a manager’s favorite. That’s almost my biggest source of frustration here. Fixes are generally not minor. I can’t wait to get out of here and get out of that situation.

Yes but every one is stressed give them some grace
Isn’t it funny when kids think they have uncovered or discovered something that has been true since the dawn ofmtime.
That's a reflection of poor leadership.
That only happens in places……where people work. Seriously. It’s been that way at every job I’ve had in the last 48 years.
You’ll get told it’s your job. Asked that same question to multiple managers. Just start applying elsewhere it will never change.
Look on the bright side, if it wasn't for poor work getting done, no work would be getting done.
