Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

People mostly exaggerate

On a number of occasions I heard people comment that Frontier is fooling its shareholders. What are the arguments for these claims? Are there any valid ones at all?
I don’t like the fact that I’m still here either, but I think such claims are pretty exaggerated. Some are inclined to idealize this company and some to completely slander it. Neither is good.

Assuming that you are the OP, why do you ask for proof and then ignore everything posted like a clueless Pollyanna?

"So, no actual facts or real evidence. Just baseless hearsay from some disgruntled grunts who know jack about anything other than complaining :-)"

There are at least two legitimate examples of what the company is doing in the responses received. Open your eyes...

Approving double time to add splitters before then end of June. They keep saying these splitters aren’t being counted as “homes passed”. If that’s the case, why the urgency? Why do they come out as DORs and expedites where we’re expected to drop everything to get them done. Meanwhile, no new customers are actually added to those splitters. Could it be that we are getting fed money for “claiming” we are building out to rural America like we did with the coolpeds? If, so how was that NOT fooling the shareholders and the FED. You can pretend to look the other way. However, it’s plainly obvious to many especially those that actually do the work and pay attention. Frontier is being extremely deceptive in its practices.

Pushing out trouble tickets into the future while pulling ahead all service orders whenever it's the end of a quarter is one way that comes to mind. Especially when the words "so we can look good for Wall Street" are actually stated in the email regarding the reasons why.

Seems a little wrong that our existing customers are no longer a priority when we need to pad our sales numbers for a quarterly report.
