The market is good, but still, it's not easy to get something significantly better. I have been trying to get a better offer for a month now and I hope to be able to get out of here soon.
It is in my interest to leave as soon as possible because I do not believe that the market will be this good for long. How much longer do you think the market will continue to be stable?

It’s not that these people don’t lack the talent. They have worked to amass vacation & salary. They have been loyal. And these are the people who know how to navigate the insane processes & get things done.
The non management types still left at Allstate are people who simply don’t have commensurate job options outside, even in a full employment economy. They lack the skills, high energy and aggressive attitude required to get hired outside of Allstate at similar paying job. They know it too, and so are forced to hang on until the bitter end and hope they get a quality severance package.
Ease up skippy, you aren’t going anywhere.
