Had a long tern head cashier today who went to lunch and did not come back.
They sent the SM an email that they would not be back.

Long term 22 year ASM walked out on Tuesday. Was not keen on his 55 hour average workweek now that his annual bonus is trending unattainable in 2022
due to the slowdown from 2020 and 2021 and corporate setting the store goals 10% above 2021.
1003?
Why shouldn't they bail? I am sure everyone has had enough of the customer concentric scheduling, insufficient staffing, petty raises, and the rest of all the bullsh!t you have to put up with! I know I did. Got out last May. Enjoying my life now.
Long term employees are tired of being treated like cr-p and getting insulting raises. I'm sure the head cashier got another job paying a few dollars more an hour
So the corporate boot li---r comes here to scold people who have HAD ENOUGH. climb back into your safe cubicle where its 68° with your private bathroom and stfu. This clown company is over and out.
Very few tenured folks left here. Stock price fell again today and so did Depot's. Lowe's just continues to mistreat employees and nickel and dime them. No wonder so many start and leave fast. People have asked about working here and I actively tell them to stay away. Glad I am out of here shortly. By the way folks, get ready to get screwed in 3rd quarter. Lowe's would not do the employee survey 3 months early if they weren't going to sc--w the employees after. Good luck to whoever stays.
Can't blame them!
I worked my bu-t off for 15 years with this cr---y company never called out came in whenever they asked on my days off one day a coworker that was on his final for constantly calling out not that it mattered he never did anything when he was there showed me his hourly wage after only three years with the company he was making $2.63 more per hour than I was getting we both had the same positions and I’ve been told for years I was capped out what a joke quit on the spot best thing I ever did
So the head cashier abandoned their job and left their remaining employees with an unexpected heavier workload. Good riddance.
