Yes, there were layoffs last week. No, they were not 10 percent as some predicted nor anywhere near that. In essence, just another normal week at Xerox. I don't understand why people get worked up over stuff like this anymore since it's part of the norm and it has been for a while.

Is every location doing layoffs? Something is coming, you can feel it. Especially since all i see is lexmark when i look around 🤷🏼♀️
I have personally seen 10% laid off and I’m a manager! Definitely too many of us
Ask yourself why most healthy companies are hiring yet X keeps eliminating jobs!
- they continually need to cut costs
- their revenue keeps decreasing
- customers keep leaving, great employees already left unlike the fools still kissing X's a-s
- offshore cannot give the quality of work needed
- companies no longer want or need the volume of printing they once did
- Xerox lack s the knowledge to adapt and grow = FAIL
You do realize it’s not ‘normal’ for a healthy company to have continual layoffs. Nor is it good for a US company to keep shifting jobs offshore.
There are still too many managers out there. I question what most do besides forward corporate emails that you’ve already received. Zero value.
So much can be downsized to save costs.
Lots of tenured & experienced Support staff got IRIFed recently. Looks like support is the Guatemala line now!!
Thursday will be more cuts in XBS services
I haven't heard of anyone being let go, and I work in a fairly large org on the direct side.
Largest cuts so far this year. Not sure why people are hung up on the number.
Operation Saturn is not over... There are 2 more waves coming. Goal was 10%. Some regions affected more. My region, nameless, is already lean and we have not been rehiring. Other regions were status quo for too long. Mostly underperforming sales in this round.
Let me see if I got this wrong: what were the exact number of layoffs last week? You seem to be someone in the know or at least positioning themselves as such… If it wasn’t 10 percent what was the number?
The "brain trust" at HQ wants to milk every $$$ out of Q2 before the big cuts, hundreds of folks will get cut on July 5th. Not that it will really help! They don't want to ruin their long weekend by having to work before the 4th holiday so the 5th will be a very bad day.
