- Arrive at store and wait 15-20 minutes until someone opens the door.
- Walk in and get yelled at, asking you numerous times "where were you?"
- Get your stuff from your locker
- Wait another 20 minutes for someone to open the cage for a Zebra
- Go to your department
- After 10 minutes, get berrrated about AP4ME
- Make your way back across the store to the training room to do WasteOfTime4Me getting stopped every other aisle by customers because there's no staff.
- Wait another 15 minutes because all the computers are in use.
- Start WasteOfTime4Me
- 5 minutes later, get berated again as to why you're in the training room with customers needing help
- Start making your way back your department and again, get stopped by numerous customers asking for help that isn't there.
- Customer in your department are upset and then go and complain to higher management.
- Get berated by a manager again over customer complaints.
- Finish helping customers
- Get berated again by another manager asking about WasteOfTime4Me again.
- Repeat steps 7-9
- Get berated again by a Manager as to why the LSR and IRPs aren't finished yet.
- Repeat step 11.
- Complete LSR
- Pencil whip the IRPs because there's no one to spot you to do the IRPs correctly.
- Go to lunch
- Come back from lunch and get berated by a manager asking where you were
- Go back to your department
- Get berated by a manager again asking why you don't check your emails.
- Make you way back to the training room and repeat step 8.
- Start checking emails
- Get berated by a manager again asking why you're not on the floor.
- Repeat step 11.
- Get berated by a manager asking why you don't get go backs.
- Start making your way to customer service
- Get stopped yet another manager asking you why you haven't done LowesU
- Make your way back to the training room and repeat step 8.
- Get paged back out to the floor.
- Attempt to start zoning one single bay.
- Clock out to go home.

A bunch of guys in my store grab a cart and put a couple things in it every day. Then it looks like they are doing something when they do nothing for hours.
To Post ID: @idh+1hjlpf1W: The reason I stay is mainly because of coworkers, and a manager here and there left over from the "better" old days. The quality of hires (say what you will) is still much better than many other places I've worked.
And there's no reason not to expect a decent schedule... except that since we've adopted the "customer-centric" scheduling, it's been made exceedingly clear that no effort will be made to accomplish "work-life balance"...
And the pay is slightly higher than similar positions elsewhere, and I don't hate my job...I think that all makes it more difficult, because otherwise, sure, we'd all be gone tomorrow. It's just good enough to keep us here...but not to stave off complaints of mistreatment. And people are going to have opinions...it's part of the deal.
You forgot to mention:
Code 1 to key cutting: 10 minutes;
Code 1 to glass cutting: 15 minutes;
Code 1 to pipe cutting: 60+ minutes since it’s in Plumbing;
Cart round-up at least twice
Possibly Code 50 to straw trailer if no one is in OSLG…
Like I said before, do no more no less, take your breaks and go home when your shift is finished.
Why don't you step off and go back to licking the corporate boots? Associates have every right to vent about a multi million dollar company that refuses to treat them right. Lowes continues to nickel and dime the real workers(associates) like it's ok. Something's gotta give

Do something about it then, no one is forcing you to work there. I worked for Lowes for 19 years and the only way things were going to change is if I did something, put in 2 weeks see ya later!! It is that simple people!!!
