Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Today was just the beginning. Call center cost restructuring is next. The “recession” will be blamed.

Was told by a little birdy recently that numerous sites are will not have there leases renewed. (The bottom 4 performing sites) What does this mean? It means the sites will be closed and all of those jobs will be shipped to lower wage regions. Don’t worry, it’s not layoffs, it’s just more “restructuring” to help everyone.

It’s real and it’s more than likely happening unless the economy quickly takes a turn for the good soon.

Get out before you get taken out like the garbage T-Mobile leadership treats everyone like.

There are no plans to close call centers. Downvote me all you want, but it’s true. Maybe in TFB. Who knows there.

Losers waiting to be fired in the best job market ever! You would be anywhere else if you had any talent. May your chains rest lightly upon you, losers.

I'm in the Colorado Springs call center, Iwas in a leadership meeting recently and definitely heard some things stated that were very similar to what OP is stating. I can't say everything but can confirm that I heard our new OM say that our lease might not be renewed.

Overland Park? This is what many are waiting on. Many. It would be so unexpected and shocking.... said no one.

Everyone is aware of the slow drip, under the radar cuts that are happening as those migration projects, etc. are wrapping up. Now the Opex challenge, recession, who cares what they call it.

If they could giddy up and get to it, summer plans can be enhanced!

My call center started using this scare tactic 2 months ago. They keep saying if we don't get our $hit in line that we might not have our lease renewed. Jesus, I thought they were just trying to scare us.
