MT works from home
the problem is deeper than mt. the board is mostly clowns that work for themselves with no tangible retail assets to help pull this company out of the pit. all corporate governance no actual boots on the ground leadership roles. so far out of touch with reality it can't be fixed. this is the new retail environment
Not a professional project manager but it seems that things have gone very wrong and MT is leading it. As with any plan, progress reporting should have been used to reveal how it’s going. Since it hasn’t gone well there should have been some hard changes. MT didn’t do that and the company is suffering.
Why is that acceptable? Why weren’t the “pillars” and OB transitions rethought? Why was it necessary to buy back $600million of stock to artificially support the price? None of these have worked.
Thinking out loud.
Send him back to Target! They can still afford his nonsense
