so the 'corebridge' IPO brought management layoffs and reorganization to the 'Valic' group/financial advisor business. The reorganization of the Valic financial advisor field into 3 groups (K-12, mid-market, wealth management) looks clearly to be a set up to sell off each piece individually if need be. If you work here things are going to change massively (not for the good). They will sell you off to the highest bidder and walk with their pay day via stock options. You will have a new employer within 6 months.
Good luck with Accenture....they are a trainwreck. Be glad to be let go now...jobs are still out there to be had. This company does not deserve you. Move on from this dumpster fire.
Can confirm - some folks staying on, some being laid off and some going to Accenture. My area won't see the changes until 1Q23.
Not after IPO apparently. Layoffs started today.
Operations were told they are getting laid off, trained for something else or moving to Accenture.
They are dragging their feet on the IPO since the market is down. Less money for the AIG stock buy back if they pull the trigger now.
Yes, there will be a significant amount of layoffs and restructuring at Corebridge. This information came from a highly reliable source. Probably won't happen until after the IPO.
I've heard that there will be a significant number of layoffs at Corebridge from a very reliable source. Probably after the IPO.
