Exit strategy

The atmosphere is becoming a bit strange and tense. I am even thinking of leaving this industry. What is your exit strategy?

I was part of the layoffs in 2018/19. I had interviewed and got another job within weeks of loosing mine.

That layoff was the best thing that ever happened to me… I did end up leaving the industry after 20yrs and don’t regret it

I think they’re talking about the impending economic hardships. Like when you hear tons of bad news but your managers are even more optimistic than ever…when you start thinking about your company’s questionable past and realize you’re probably not going to hear about layoffs until it’s too late and the job market is gone.
