With all the talk of more layoffs coming; What are the odds of the Claims processor role getting eliminated all together here on the east coast (NY)?

Almost everything in the U.S. is either going to India or being foreign contracted out. With well more than half of U.S. Allstate jobs going overseas and with a lot of claims already in India I would say those odds are pretty good (or bad depending on how you look at it). Remember the have licensed adjusters already in India so just image how many processors there already are there. I personally have only seen a few claims files in the past few years in which there has not been at least one India touch and about half an Indian in the actual adjuster.
