I retired a few months ago - last check with vacation days was about two weeks after I left. However, they did sc--w up my pension. First pension check was not sent - because AIG did not advise the company they outsource for pension what my last day was - even though I gave them three months' notice. I was told - you will receive check for May and June with the June payment. My response - do you think PZ would be okay with not being paid for a month? While I miss my coworkers I do not miss the personal greed that PZ and his ELT cohorts exhibit. Disgusting.

They issued mine direct deposit but it may have been a month later. And you can do all of your 401k stuff online.

Once you are gone, they send everything by snail mail (if they decide to send it at all)

With AIG stock taking a nosedive PZ may need your contribution to buy back a few shares of stock. Be patient, the needs of executives far outweigh your petty need to feed your family.

Once you are gone from AIG, they attempt to scr*w you every which way that they can. Be sure to document your calls to Shared Services because it will generally take at least 10 or more calls to try to educate them on what you need. I attempted to move my 401k money to my new employer, and they constantly sent the form back to me for the account number, when they had it all the time.
