Social media is flooded with the PepsiCo CEO and the Executive Team celebrating the success of putting USA workers on the street in favor off cheaper Indian labor. Pepsi tossed hundreds of dedicated employees to the curb without any concern for their tenure, dedication and sacrifices made for this company. Many were tricked into staged termination meetings and walked to their car in less than 20 minutes, then told to stay away from the property. How many business partners are saying service is disgusting, it's never been worse?
So who misleading everyone here? Is Pepsi leadership intentionally misrepresenting the success of India labor? Or, are the internal business partners simply whining unfoundedly? Either answer reflects a company with serious internal conflict and integrity issues.

It’s sad, but it’s time! The monkeys are running the circus!
It’s
I went through something very similar last year, with the extra benefit of providing "knowledge transfer" before being kicked out the door. The additional work and chaos of not having experienced people to help support the systems has taken a toll on those on who were offered positions in the new organization. Several of them have left or retired early. But if you talk to upper management, offshoring was the best decision they ever made. Every time I hear the term "digital transformation", I cringe.
humanity left when the current CEO took over.
It’s taking 3 people to do the task of half my work in my old role.
Any labor force in the world is better than lazy American blue collar. No wonder these companies are moving their operations offshore for better, cheaper, and faster.
10 years? They sold off Trop, G is going DSD and shareholders been wanting Quaker dumped forever. I give it 18 months, all that'll be left is Frito and Pepsi Beverages. Better start freshening up those resumes.
Glassdoor is a joke, they only post what the companies want posted. Don't waste your time with Glassdoor.
The Pepsico reviews in Glassdoor and Indeed are so off I consider them useless for all companies.
It is a cr-p show. GBS makes everything 10 times harder. Nothing works.... everything takes forever..... terrible on the people who actually have to deal with it.
I don't think India is doing anything better or faster. They are so slow with getting things done. I send tickets, they always have questions about what needs to be done or they can't figure out how to do something. They may be saving the company some money but people are leaving all the time due to GBS not paying them properly or in my case, I have 2 zones to cover so I don't get it all done on time because it is too much for one person. I can't get everything done on time when I have to take 10 steps to process 1 thing through the GBS tool that works some days and doesn't work on other days
I’m so disappointed with the company direction. I am a senior employee and continue to see people with very little experience handed promotions for which they have no qualifications.
Our products are losing share and competence is needed. Why is senior leadership so clueless about the fastest growing energy category? The sales force is completely overloaded and beat down. I have never seen so many people desperate to change jobs or leave the company.
Indians are smart. All have degrees and responsible. Tell me about the disastrous Mexico branch of GBS. They have been trained over and over and over and still don’t get it. Even hiring temps in Mexico City to help the Mexico Team!
The company is abhorrent. They have lost any semblance of humanity. I don’t buy their relatively high Glassdoor and Indeed employee reviews for a second. They must have games the algorithms on those sites. Here in Chicago people are quitting in droves. Many veterans who were here for years are suddenly gone - no warning. This CEO is a disgrace to the company, American business and even the shareholders. No way this is sustainable. I say the company gets broken up in pieces within 10 years. Good riddance
