Thread regarding Ford layoffs

A very talented pool of engineers have been released by RIVIAN. Any intelligent company can hire them.

As you know you have to 4 hours of interview with all the tech departments involving your work.

Once Amazon realizes all the problems they will have with the vans, they will need to do an abrupt change of course. Maybe end up building their own "Amazon Basics" e-van.

Aren't those the same employees that left Ford a few months ago?

Rivian is really looking like a Lordstown scam, but happened to make it just a little bit further into actually being a real automaker.

Driving around in Detroit area I have see a total of 3, yes just 3 actual Rivian trucks driving in the area in 2022. And one of them was a m-plate.

Pretty lame if you ask me.

Rivian does not have their own site here on The Layoff. What's happening over there currently?

Send the slackers out and get the cream in.

Why do we care? Ford is laying off too.
Guess all those people who fled Ford for Rivian may not be better off.
