It's too late for anything to save Xerox. If something big had been done when JV first took over we might have had enough room to pull up before the plane crashed into the ground. But he was just told to keep the ship afloat long enough for Icahn and Deason to get some payback in stock dividends and shop the company for an outright sale.

Too much time has passed now and I believe the damage is terminal. There's not enough time, or money (have you seen the earnings?) to save it. The only way out now is a merger, partial sale of some components, or a total sale. There's nothing organic the company can do to "grow" itself out of this mess. It's just too far in the ho-e at this point.

Steve b is all talk , tells you what you want to hear. The only thing that can save xerox is a buyout/merger. New leadership completly .

I like SB. He has been doing the heavy lifting for JV who was an empty suit. Unfortunately, any ideas he had on M&A have been explored and did not materialized. Maybe Fuji can come back to the table. With new leadership, they might be able to reach a decent deal.

SB has always been a good speaker.

But his town hall was woefully short on details. There was NO info about how they are fixing supply chain issues. There was NO info about new products and/or solutions that are coming to help stop the slide.

All in all it was simply a Rah-Rah message with no substance. Can he make a positive difference? Maybe. But he's been in all the same meetings JV was, and the results haven't improved. And he answers to the same Board of Directors JV did, so I don't see much change coming.

I personally appreciated his candor on most things. He’s a little more forthright and brash, not a bad thing. At the end of the day he’s still running a publicly traded company, so we’ll see how things shake out.

I agree...a lot of a** kissers out there but also surprised to see how nobody cared/remembered JV that represents the whole feeling of this board.
