The further I ask around the office I think there are a lot less ready and willing to step away from the gravy train. Some might be enticed but some might need a push. Our current processes and procedures will need to be updated to eliminate the “done yet” positions.
This will be fuzzy math counting employees.. I wonder how voluntary separation are counted for this program... This could fare well for the many who are waiting for little walking money. Throw in a year of service and allow some to purchase a year or two and you could get to 8000 real quick. Then you would have a new company! It would be like a start up. Former Processes and Procedures would have to evolve to deal with the empty holes of support.
When these folks leave... their rubber stamps will be left behind and will need to be reinvented to create efficiency.
