Talk about an unethical company. Laying off hundreds if not thousands each quarter all while the executive rake in enormours bonuses. If T-Mobile is making this much money it makes you wonder why they keep laying us off?

They are laying you off because you are a disposable human resource to them. Nothing more. I am always amazed that people expect love and loyalty from a non-person entity, a corporation. A corporation is a separate entity with its own lawyers and interests.
To a corporation, you are the same as a HVAC unit, a break room toaster, or a network switch site. When you reach the end of your useful shelf life, you are discarded and/or replaced.
Take their money and look after yourself. Corporations are the enemy of the the modern workforce. When they show signs of betrayal, act first.
DUMP EMPLOYEES, PUMP THE STOCK!
Not a fan of that Carrier Callout bs. It’s a bit juvenile and put us in a box.
We are also cutting back opex spend on suppliers for gear and support. Going to make it a lot harder to support our planned growth. Going to be a slave ship in engineering.
They're backed into a corner. The brilliant marketing team decided to pillory ATT/VZ for raising prices. Now that we need to raise prices to cover cost, we can't. We'd look like a bunch of liars. So, rather than raise prices, you lower cost. Easiest way to do that (other than "Synergies" taking 3+ years) is to reduce your biggest top line cost. Payroll.
And so we're reducing payroll by Covid Firings and weekly layoffs.
I agree. Layoff is nice way to say GTFO when they would really like to fire you.
Probably because they don’t need you. Just a guess.
