Doesn't Lyriq cost $300,000?

How many of those do you think GM is going to sell?

Enough to keep the business going?

I saw this comment on another thread.

All of the well experienced mass producers of automobiles, who are strongly ramping up EV capabilities and know how to play the long game, will most likely eat into Tesla’s market share just like it did to GM for decades. Mostly the same manufacturers, too. I feel this another hollow win for GM.

I think we can get there once we deliver true affordable ev. Bolt is really good value at 27k but I bet we are losing money on those bolts.

Our products are positioned very well and above competition.

Lyriq is good example of how we are taking down tesla.

We got good range. Competitive pricing and tech. Infotainment now runs built in Google products like Google maps, Google media, playstore, and Google assistant for voice.

Quality and design is so far beyond any of tesla's models. It is straight up unfair to even compare Lyriq to Tesla on design and quality.

Autonomous is one of the key feature in EV now days. All oems offer some level of assist feature. Tesla autopilot is very advanced but from my experience I will say our super cruise has advantage of hands free. We are also going to release new updated version of super cruise also. It's been 5 yrs since we launched super cruise. Many oems are either just getting into this game or don't even have anything.

Battery is the key here especially charging. This is where we are behind. We don't own our own network unlike tesla. We do have partners but most of them are sh---y on charger status report. Electrify America seems to me most promising but still not comparable to tesla's huge network.

But most of time you will use cars to commute and drive around town anyway. I feel very confident that our products will do really well compare to tesla and will crush all other oems too.

Have fun replacing your battery after a few year for $10,000. And then again a few years after that.

Have fun charging your cars when electricity costs more than gasoline. Have fun being stuck in a 125 mile area the rest of your life, too.

I highly doubt we'll be at 18.3% market share by 2030, but we'll see.
