I heard in past company involuntary separation programs, there were lawsuits that won against the company. If anyone know of real cases, please share. This may help preparing in case, a lawsuit is the way to go, instead of signing the waver. Thanks

If you are over 40 and you get laid off, you should sue as a matter of course.4

Ford had to settle because there was no way they would win in court with all the smoking g-n emails that had been unearthed in discovery.
There's a case that's going on that I believe is similar. IBM had a mass layoff a few years back including forced arbitration and age based discrimination. This is a link to a discussion of their lawyer representation.
