Thread regarding Ohiohealth Shelby Hospital layoffs

OhioHealth is set to eliminate more than 630 Information Technology jobs

Get out as soon as you can, do not be forced to train your replacement for some meager severance package. You have a better chance of keeping your current salary or even making more if change employers while still employed. It's much harder to negotiate pay when you are unemployed. Best of luck!

Yes. Greed has spread everywhere. Since corporations are persons, it should be noted that they are also, by design, psychopathic persons. Just look at the definition of psychopathic personality disorder.

This happened to me at an annuities company and I now work for a famous hospital.

It’s terrifying to see a huge hospital system do the same. Hiding behind the non-profit banner they just run the same capitalist corporate playbook.

They get your hopes up that you can apply for other positions and transfer but the whole thing is a salary dump so they won’t let that happen.
