Just noticed a large number of open Technology reqs were closed today. Wonder if this is a signal of upcoming Technology cuts/re-orgs???

OH Pick Me Pick Me, I have been a Switch Technician for 10 years at T-Mobile, numerous moves for the company and many missed family events, sleepless nights etc. Nobody ever recognizes the folks supporting the network so I am sure that many of us are to the point that the severance package would be taken, we can come back in 4 months as a contractor, same job, no on-call, no headaches, no stress just a paycheck and a personal life. I have been in Telecom since 95 and this is just the way it is, a company get the network built out and they cut jobs. Engineering and Operations is a way of life, not a job.

Well all the legacy Sprint applications have to be shut down (except the ones supporting Dish mvno) so no need for support. TMO tech was doing fine before merger, now they have to right size to meet budget goals.
