The sad truth is that I'm disappointed that I wasn't laid off. Is it over with layoffs for now or will the cuts continue? Can someone give me more info?

Once it becomes clear that they cant delay the Wells deal for yet another quarter, and the deal will not be realized, there is little hope for recovery. Thus yes, between now and Aug 15th there will be many more. They will need to report measurable layoffs during the earnings call in mid August.
