Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Next voluntary buyout

It's been nearly four years since the last major one, any chance we are getting closer to the next one? I was 10 years at the time so I wasn't included, but I also wouldn't have accepted it at that time. However, this time I would be and I'd jump at the opportunity. What are the chances something like that is coming?

Sounds like the posts over at Ford.... Billy and Jim are still setting up the big top for the big circus EV show... Rumors at best... Ford did the dirty involuntary cuts in the spring and the best severance was 9 months of pay for 20+ yrs. We got a train station and main Dearborn main campus renovation going on right now. Leadership is quiet on all fronts except woke topics.. We got a few big shooters Hau Thai Ta-g and Frederiek Toney announcing their retirements but probably fall guys of Farley's take over.. Joining the company of Hinrichs and Fields. Hackett is just a bad memory. Oh the tapestry of turmoil these leaders have woven. EVs are our salvation!
