what's with the cost cutting?

layoffs suck but why? is tmobile losing a ton of wireless subscribers? revenue going down the toilet?

  1. ) Inflation making its way into the cost structure. They have $25 billion a year in operating expenses. 2.) Higher cost to compete today than ever. Phones are more expensive and they’re basically fully subsidizing them on higher growth that puts pressure on short-term profits. 3.) Can’t raise prices on customers.

Cut the costs or watch profitability goes backward. That won’t last long. If current management team won’t do what’s necessary, a newly installed management would.
