Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

The days of the manufacturer are over

It is sad to see what has happened w Xerox. Totally destroyed GIS, the direct channel is a mess and people are just waiting to be let go.

Mr. Vega was a pioneer of Global and embodied the benchmark. It’s not a surprise to see his life long protege Mr Cartisano get caught as well.

There is much more coming.

Where is there left to go? Dex? Atlantic? Flex?

Global always invested in the future with constant improvement to promote growth. That scares the EC team as they just want to finally sink the ship so Icahn can sell off the pieces. They will eliminate everyone who still cares about the company to make their job easier.

Dan Cooper is building Novatech to be the next GIS only he is serious about the managed IT space. When he suddenly departed GIS I knew it was going to be bad for those of us who loved and thrived in the GIS culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Xerox culture sucks!

Wilson had a fatal flaw, he cared about people! Looking back at the last few years maybe the prior management that "let Golbal be Global" might have been right!
