Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

I left and two years later I brought over a friend

What great joy to had fled this modern horse saddle dumpster to a fintec startup working in tailored software. I've been truly blessed and yesterday my luck extended to a smart ex-colleague of mine who'll be joining me in this wonderful fully remote, 4 day week unlimited pto job with a good pay increase. Ask people around, you'll be surprised. There's opportunities if you dig.

Why would anyone ever leave xerox? So proud to work at a Tech Power house… Ohh wait, turns out it’s a putrid dumpster fire? Oh well, guess I’ll keep flipping laid off colleagues mif and brown nosing super deep until I get sh!t canned too.

I believe Steve B writes most of the pro X comments on this forum, I mean who else would be so adamant about the virtues of CareAR?? It has gotten to the point that when I read these comments I hear them spoken in his voice.

Nope, I prefer a bird in the hand and I make enough now between this job and other outside investment strategies that I am very comfortable. Hope you guys get your funding! Crossing my fingers, toes and eyes for ya!

The company is 9 years old. It's going for Series C funding now. It pays in Canadian dollars. Under all that thick sl--e you wrote, are you interested?

I unfortunately followed advice from an old Xerox employee with a pension and that goes by the alias Bill Brasky from SNL. I knew he worked at Canon so I decided to test the waters there. Left in no time because of the fact that they could not support any of the local major clients I was trying to steal from Xerox. It’s a shame that I took the chance and tested the waters. Anybody know if there is a way to sue somebody from the message boards for false advertising? Asking for a friend. OK never mind, I am that friend.

I should’ve listened to my father when he said that the grass isn’t always greener. I should just water my grass better. Left a couple years ago thinking I was going to make more money at my new gig, but I was the least tenured on the team so I was let go first during Covid. What a bummer.

I have a similar story too. I convinced him to join a local dealership with me and told him they had better support. But it turned out that we were sold on lies and it was actually worse than we could have imagined. Now I don’t have any constant pay and I have to worry about getting a paycheck from the owner. Anybody have a lawyer I could speak to? Looking to get back into Xerox asap.

I also brought a friend to a new job and talked it up, but then the company shut its doors during COVID. I felt really bad because I was the one that convinced him to make the change. It’s OK, I’m paying his mortgage now to make amends. Will get back up on that saddle in no time. Just you watch.

I just got my friend a job at KFC with me. I let him keep the dayshift though and he’s super excited about not having to work nights. We are a great team and we get to keep chicken at the end of the night. This is a dream job! Come on folks, let’s get this train rolling!

Wow, can you see if you could get me a job at this start up? I mean hopefully that company could survive the five year mark, but you never know. Does it pay in pesos or marbles?
