What happens if there is no settlement in the case trials?

If the second round comes up, there is sure shot bankruptcy. It all comes down to the negotiation between the lawyers from both parties.
The veterans would have their expectations set high because of the first round and would be eyeing heavy settlement offers.
Of course not a hundred per cent of the veterans get 20-30 million dollar settlements but they would surely be expecting seven figures.
